An “Un-Shore” Future: Predictions for the Jersey Shore Cast

· Celebs, Reality TV

Still reeling from the news that season six will be “Jersey Shore’s” swan song, we decided to put together some predictions for the cast’s future endeavors, based on their career histories, Tweets, and current projects in the works.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

Polizzi’s spin-off show, “Snooki & JWoww” is already filming its second season and, with a new baby and fiancée, we predict a spin-off-of-a-spin-off for the trio of meatballs. We also bet that Snooki will continue to work on building her “brand” – hawking everything from pickle-flavored baby food to crockadilly stuffies.

Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino

As soon as “Jersey Shore” season six finished filming, the newly-sober Situation entered another house of addiction: the “Celebrity Big Brother UK” house. While it’s great that Sorrentino got a new gig so fast, it remains to be seen whether he can break out of his reality TV rut, with a resume that includes appearances on “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Choice.” We predict he’ll continue to focus on his endorsement deals with companies like Abercrombie & Fitch – who pay him to not wear their merchandise.

Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio

Like his housemates, Snooki and JWoww, Pauly D spun-off his own show this year, “The Pauly D Project.” Unlike “Snooki & JWoww,” however, “The Pauly D Project” doesn’t seem to have secured a second season due to “soft ratings.”  Fortunately, Pauly’s future remains bright on the spinning side of things, if not the spin-offs. Wet Paint reported that DJ Pauly D is slated to produce a song with the princess of pop, Britney Spears.

Vinny Guadagnino

Vinny was quick to joke about his future career plans following the announcement of the show’s cancellation, Tweeting, “Aright, so I guess I’ll run for president now #Vinny2012.”  All joking aside, Vinny is the only cast member to really show a penchant for non-reality acting – he’s appeared on “90210,”  “The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” and in the Syfy channel movie “Jersey Shore Shark Attack.” We predict Vinny will make a move to the big screen and perhaps carve a niche for himself in bromantic comedies.

Jennifer “JWoww” Farley

The Shore’s most intellectually-underestimated cast member, Jenni “JWoww” Farley probably has the most diverse career options of her fellow housemates. Prior to joining the cast, she used her degrees in computer programming and graphic design to run her own business, Jenni Farley Designs Inc. If her spin-off, “Snooki & JWoww” doesn’t work out, she could also fall back on her former career as a nanny. We predict a prosperous career in entertainment for JWoww, including her own line of electronic cigarettes.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

One-half of the Greatest Love Story of Our Time, Ron assured Wet Paint that he already had “some things in the pipeline” for his post-Shore career. He also took to Twitter to expand on these “things,” explaining, “I can always go work for Danny at the Shore Store! LOL.” With the recent news that Ron and his cast mate and on-again-off-again girlfriend, Sammi Sweetheart, moved in together in New York City, we suspect that what he really wants is a spin-off.

Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola

Shortly after news spread of The Shore’s cancellation, Sammi Sweetheart Tweeted, “It’s been one hell of a ride but this is just the beginning…. Thank you all for your love & support throughout the seasons!!….These memories will never be forgotten!!” (More like meme-ories, Sam.) We predict Sammi Sweetheart will focus on some sort of fitness video since she’s always telling various magazines and websites how she lost “the fat.*”

*Not Ron

Deena Cortese

A quick trip to Deena’s official website reveals that the “Blast in a Glass” has all bases covered for her post-Shore moneymaking ventures. There’s Deena inspired jewelry, hair products, and even a Royal Caribbean cruise with Deena. She also revealed in an interview earlier this year that she’d like to pursue voice acting and has Tweeted about working with a vocal coach.

Which “Jersey Shore” star do you think will still be in the spotlight ten years from now?
